Life Drawing

I did these life-drawings in my first year at Staffordshire University on the
Animation course in 2005 and 2006. It really helped me to understand about weight
and poses and it is also useful for practising foreshortening of perspective.
I had not done life drawings before! This was my first time!
Some of them are drawn with charcoal sticks and some with felt tip pen.

The observations had to be made quickly as our Animation lecturer kept
asking the model to change pose to speed up our drawing skills! The amount of time
spent on each drawing varies from just 2 to 3 minutes for some of the simpler
outline drawings to 15 minutes for those with more detail.
